Privacy Policy

LegitPark is a free tool that shows street-parking rules for US addresses. We collect as little as possible. Last updated: July 19, 2026.

What we collect

Approximate location — when you search an address or use "my location," we use those coordinates to look up parking rules for that block. We don't need or store a precise identity, and we don't sell location data.
Analytics — we use Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager) and Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate usage (pages viewed, city, device). Google Analytics sets cookies; Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless.
Sign photos — if you use "scan the sign," the photo is sent to an AI service to read the sign and may be stored (with the block location) to improve parking coverage for everyone. Don't include people or plates you don't want captured.
No account — LegitPark has no login and does not ask for your name, email, or payment to use the site.

Who we share it with

Service providers that make the site work: Cloudflare (hosting, analytics), Google (Analytics, Maps), and the AI provider that reads scanned signs. Some outbound links (e.g. car rentals or garages) are affiliate links via advertising networks — see our Terms. We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies & choices

You can block cookies in your browser and use a Do-Not-Track or privacy extension; the core "can I park here?" lookup still works. To request deletion of a sign photo you submitted, email support@legitpark.com.

Children

LegitPark is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children under 13.
